Presentation Information

Oral Presentation

Each presentation in the talk sessions lasts for 12 minutes, followed by a 3-minute discussion period. Please make sure your presentation fits the allotted time. You should arrive at the presentation room at least 15 minutes before the start of your session.

All lecture rooms have PC computers with PowerPoint installed for display on LCD projectors; they also have standard RGB projector inputs if you wish to use your laptop. A laser pointer will also be provided. If you have any other AV requirements please contact the conference organizers (email: info@apcv.net). Presenters are welcome to test their presentations during breaks in the talk streams.

Poster Presentation

Each poster presentation will be assigned a poster board consisting of a pair of panels opened at an angle. Each panel is 3ft wide x 6ft tall (about 91cm x 183cm). The panels start low to the ground, so we recommend you make your poster no taller than 4.5ft. You can choose how to use your assigned poster boards (e.g., one "landscape" poster extending across both panels or two "portrait" posters). We will provide double-sided adhesive tape for putting up posters.

All poster sessions will be held in Loke Yew Hall, HKU Main Building (Venue Map). The digits to the right of the decimal point in your poster number (see program) indicate the number of your poster board (e.g., poster 22.1 is assigned board number 1). Please post your materials on the board assigned to you in the break before the morning poster session begins, and remove the poster after the afternoon poster session. Presenters with odd numbered posters are expected to be at their poster during the morning session, with even numbered posters during the afternoon session.
